This technical result is achieved by the inventive core for small arms of hard alloy, having a head and tail parts, the core length is equal to (2.21 ÷ 3.48) d, the head part is tapered, the diameter of the base of the cone head is equal to (0.72- 0.86) d, the surface of the tail part of the core is made with a roughness not higher than Ra 1.6, has a chamfer on the end face, the coaxiality of the head and tail parts is not more than (0.02-0.03) mm, the nominal mass of the core is (34 ÷ 62)% of the mass of the bullet, the core has a tolerance field, which distinguishes i by the fact that the head part of the core has a length equal to (0.58 ÷ 1.65) d, where d is the bullet caliber, the tail part of the core has the shape of a cylinder whose diameter is equal to the diameter of the base of the cone, the head part of the cone has a vertex in the form of a hemisphere diameter of not more than 0.9 mm, the surface of the top, the head part and the chamfer on the end face of the tail part of the core are obtained by pressing, sintering and tumbling, the chamfer on the end face of the tail part of the core is equal to (0.15 ÷ 0.40) mm tungsten by weight (88-98)%, the rest is cobalt and has ate flexural strength of at least 1475 MPa, core mass deviation from the nominal value (Mn) is within a tolerance equal to (0,011 ÷ 0,0585) Mn, where Mn - the nominal mass of the core.
