A coherent fiber Doppler lidar includes a cw laser, an acousto-optical modulator for generating pulsed radiation, a modulator driver, a fiber amplifier, a circulator, a telescope, two fiber splitters, a balanced photodetector, an analog-to-digital converter, a control module, a spectral processing module, and a computer. It differs in that the device uses synchronization of the radiation modulation frequency with the sampling frequency of the analog-to-digital converter by multiplying the frequency of the acousto-optical modulator by four and phase adjustment of the voltage that controls the operation of the analog-to-digital converter.
