The utility model relates to the field of research and analysis of materials. A device is proposed for electron diffraction studies of molecules in the gas phase, in which the blocks of a gas chromatograph, molecular separator, gas electron diffractometer, ion source and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer are connected in series, each of these blocks being connected to a computer that controls the operation using a common computer program each block. The technical result achieved is to increase the accuracy and reliability of all parameters of free molecules of a substance determined by gas electron diffraction (that is, data on the spatial configuration of free molecules, internuclear distances in each molecule, the value of valence angles and amplitude of atomic vibrations in the analyte molecule).
