Method for the passive determination of the coordinates of hydroacoustic radiation sources is proposed, which contains the reception of the signals M≥3 with antennas, pre-processing of the received signals, including synchronous sampling, digital transformation and Fourier transformation (FT), indication in the coordinate grid (CG) "direction-range", calculation for each pq-th cell of CG of pairwise differences of propagation times of the signal. In accordance with the proposed method, fans of directed channels (DC) are formed on each of the M antennas and for each direction αnki at each frequency ƒk of FT arrays define a triangular table from (M2-M)/2 values of the pairwise SPS estimation of the output signals Xmik=[xmik] of each m-th antenna with the output signals of each n-th antenna with a temporary accumulation of estimates of the SPS. Obtained triangular table is transformed into the matrix Gik) = [gmnik)] of dimension M×M and the transformation of the inversion is applied. After that, the elements of the inverse matrix [bmnik)] are summed by m, n in [p, q]-th CG nodes with multiplication by the time delay compensation factor exp(-jƒkτmnip, Dq)), are summed by frequency ƒk within the frequency range of reception ƒkn, ƒkv with a given frequency response h(ƒk) and are indicated in the coordinate grid "direction-range" (αp/Dq), and the coordinates of the radiation sources are determined from the position of the maximums of the indicator values on the coordinate scales of the CG.;EFFECT: proposed method allows to reduce the distortion and increase the accuracy of determining the coordinates and resolution in the direction and range of several radiation sources in a given observation sector (αmin, αmax) on the indicator screen, as well as reduce the distortion of their signal marks on the indicator.;1 cl, 8 dwg
