FIELD: technological processes.;SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for the manufacture of brick blanks for brick masonry, in particular sand-lime bricks. Method includes pressing brick blanks of a first format from the raw materials in a first production process in at least one moulding space (2), which is defined by at least two, preferably four, moulding walls (10, 20, 30, 40). In a second production process, brick blanks of a second format are pressed from the raw material using at least one pair of press rams (5 and 6, 7 and 8) that are capable of being converged in pressing direction (P) in moulding space (2) between moulding walls (10, 20, 30, 40). Between the first production process and the second production process, at least one of moulding walls (10, 10 and 20) of moulding space (2) is adjusted using assigned adjustment drive (11, 11 and 21) so that in the first production process and the second production process, the cross section of moulding space (2) is perpendicular to pressing direction (P), or at least one size (B1, B2) of moulding space (2), perpendicular to pressing direction (P), as a result of which the brick format is preferably different.;EFFECT: higher efficiency of making bricks of various formats.;12 cl, 13 dwg
