FIELD: measurement technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the low-flying targets elevation angle tracking methods under interference conditions over the reflective sea surface. Method comprises the accurate tracking by elevation and altitude algorithm and the radar antenna radiation patterns controlling procedure. Method is based on the use of radar with digital diagramming of narrow and wide total receiving diagrams, which axes are set midway between the direction to the target and the direction to its specular reflection. With equality of gains in the diagrams maxima, the ratio or the normalized difference between the signals received by the wide and narrow diagrams depends only on the angle between the direction to the target and the direction to its specular reflection. To calculate the diagrams installation angle, extrapolated data about the target, calculated in the process of tracking, are used.;EFFECT: achievable technical result is increase in the measurements accuracy.;1 cl, 4 dwg
