Sumps protection device in an emergency cooling system of a water-cooled nuclear reactor comprises a system of filters installed on a receiving opening of an upper part sump arranged in reactor containment bottom and connected to pipeline emergency cooling system intake hole, system of filters is filtering modules connected to collectors, which prevent ingress of debris into intake hole of pipelines of emergency cooling system.
