FIELD: test technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of thermal testing of aircraft elements, in particular, ceramic fairings of rockets. Disclosed is a method for thermal testing of full-scale ceramic elements of aircraft, which involves depositing a high-temperature coating on the heated surface with high degree of blackness, radiation heating and temperature measurement. Prior to application of the coating on the heated surface, thermal receivers are installed, a coating with a high degree of blackness is applied, and their heating is performed locally with radiation pulses of constant power; the time of reaching the specified temperature of the thermal receiver with the reference one is compared. If the time of output for a thermal receiver is less than for a reference one, an additional coating layer is applied on the analysed thermal receiver, with the value of the output time for the thermal receiver more than for the reference one, a coating layer is removed from the thermal receiver.;EFFECT: high accuracy of setting thermal conditions of ceramic fairings at ground tests in radiation heating plants.;1 cl, 2 dwg
