FIELD: satisfaction of vital human requirements.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to public health, particularly to quality control of biological medicinal preparations, and can be used for quantitative determination of phenol in biological medicinal preparations containing phenol as a preserving agent. Invention is a method for quantitative determination of phenol by gas-liquid chromatography. Method involves using an initial preparation without preliminary dilution, automatic sampling, chromatographic separation of substances contained in the preparation, and use of internal standard, which eliminates possibility of non-specific effect of sample composition on quantitative determination of phenol and reduces probability of accidental and / or systematic error of determination.;EFFECT: disclosed method is more specific and accurate compared to methods currently used for quantitative determination of phenol in biological medicinal preparations.;3 cl, 8 dwg, 4 tbl
