FIELD: transportation.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles with devices for facilitating loading, unloading and stacking of cargoes and can be used in universal tyre handler intended for assembly and transportation of heavy truck wheels. Proposed universal tyre handler comprises base furnished with inclination hydraulic cylinder, support plate, hinged plate furnished with fastening assembly and sliding hydraulic cylinder, two four-hinged parallelogram gripping mechanisms equipped with gripper hydraulic cylinders and connected with base on one side and, on the other side, with grip housings. On free ends of grip housings there are holders actuated by hydraulic cylinders of wheel turning and provided with a set of retainers. Connection of hydraulic cylinders with hydraulic distributor is performed by means of high pressure hoses arranged inside four-hinged parallelogram gripping mechanisms, and connection of levers of four-hinged parallelogram gripping mechanisms and bushings in hinge joints is made on the principle of "tenon-groove".;EFFECT: higher reliability of the tyre handler.;8 cl, 5 dwg
