FIELD: ecology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecology, to remote methods of natural environment monitoring. Method involves probing the underlying surface with a spectrometer with a wide field of view in the entire range of re-radiation bands of Lyman, Balmar and Paschen gas molecules, determining weighted average wavelength shift Δλ and attenuation energy ΔE between spectra of incident and reflected light flux, calculating the number of collisions N of gas molecules with photons through ratio ΔE to energy of one quantum, calculating the number of moles of greenhouse gases in the volume of the probing beam as a ratio of N to the Avogadro number and their weight by multiplying M by the average molar weight of the greenhouse gas molecules, concentration determination mg/m³ dividing weight by volume of probing beam for stratified layer of troposphere with height of 200 m.;EFFECT: technical result is reliability and efficiency of quantitative assessment of concentration in entire layer of troposphere without restrictions on type of underlying surface and reflection coefficient.;1 cl, 7 dwg
