FIELD: test technology.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of testing lubricants and can be used to determine changes in the composition of oxidation products. Lubricant material of constant mass is thermally controlled at three temperatures at atmospheric pressure with mixing. At regular intervals, the oxidised lubricant sample is weighed, the mass of the evaporated oil is determined and the evaporability coefficient KG is calculated as ratio of weight of evaporated lubricant to weight of sample before test, selecting a portion of an oxidised lubricant sample, determining optical density D and resistance coefficient R by formula: R=1-(D∙KG)/(D+KG). According to the change in the resistance coefficient R to the oxidation from the test temperature of the analyzed lubricant, its graphical dependence on the optical density and the test temperature is plotted, from which the homogeneity of the composition of the oxidation products and the effect of temperature on the change in the composition are determined depending on the concentration of the oxidation products.;EFFECT: wider range of technical means relating to the technology of testing lubricants for determining the effect of concentration of oxidation products on their composition depending on test temperature.;1 cl, 4 dwg
