FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of nanomaterials, which can be used as a sorbent with high selectivity to connections of a certain size, carrier of medicinal agents in living organisms, filler for polymer composite materials for various purposes and catalytically active materials. Method of producing nanomaterial involves intercalation of pure non-functionalised fullerene C60 from toluene to a surface-modified layered silicate of the smectite group - montmorillonite. Method then selectively removes the mineral modifier (surfactant) by thermal treatment at a temperature corresponding to the degradation temperature of the surfactant used, resulting in spheres of molecule C60 are built in between layers of mineral and simultaneously they are fixed.;EFFECT: higher operational properties of nanomaterials based on intercalated layered silicates and wider range of obtained functional nanomaterials based thereon.;1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex
