FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to couplings. Method of adaptation of dynamic loads, in which for decoupling of drive shaft with driven shaft control system transmits electric current through magnetic field neutralizing coil of permanent magnet of such direction and value, at which magnetic flux in it is equal to magnetic flux of permanent magnet and directed opposite. As a result ferrofluid of coupling-disengagement clutch loses viscosity and transfer of rotation of drive shaft to driven shaft stops. To brake the driven shaft, the control system transmits electric current through the brake coil varying in accordance with the selected optimum braking rate. Viscosity of ferrofluid of brake increases from minimum to maximum value in selected optimal braking rate. Driven shaft stops rotation, after which control system interrupts electric current in brake coil. To engage the drive shaft with the driven shaft, the control system reduces the value of the permanent magnet current magnetic field passed through the coil by the neutralization in the selected optimum rate of increase in the angular velocity of the driven shaft. Viscosity of ferrofluid of clutch-disengagement increases from minimum to maximum value, providing transmission of rotation of drive shaft to driven shaft in optimal mode.;EFFECT: enabling adaptation of dynamic loads.;1 cl, 1 dwg
