FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of premature ignition in an engine in a vehicle after production and before delivery. Disclosed are various systems and methods for controlling deposit formation on an ignition plug and premature ignition in a newly manufactured vehicle. Proposed method comprises, during pre-setting period of newly produced vehicle including engine, operation of engine with first installation for air-fuel ratio to reduce deposit formation on ignition plug and adjustment of first installation of air-fuel ratio in response to premature ignition.;EFFECT: technical result is reduced deposit on ignition plug.;19 cl, 5 dwg
