FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of specific oligosaccharides for modulation of intestinal microbiota, in particular for reduction of streptococci quantity in an intestine of an infant. Disclosed is use of an artificial nutritional composition containing prebiotic oligosaccharides to reduce the number of streptococcal bacteria in the intestines of infants fed on artificial feeding.
