FIELD: mining.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining and can be used for elimination of processes leading to formation of cracks and collapse of body of burning slagheaps of coal mines and dumps of sections. Method of increasing the stability of a slagheap solid mass in the period of its long-term burning involves formation of a slagheap body from coal mines and sections and placement of air supply pipes into the slagheap. At that, air supplying pipes are arranged at inclination so that their mouth is located in lower part of slagheap, and their outlet is arranged in its upper part. Combustion processes of carbonaceous rocks in the slagheap are controlled by gate valves on air supply pipes.;EFFECT: technical result is increased stability of the slagheap solid mass during its long-term burning.;3 cl, 2 dwg
