Invention is a test system for detecting DNA of an ornithosis agent (Chlamydophila psittaci) in birds, comprising plastic bottles and test tubes, a thermostable Tag-polymerase enzyme, a reaction-setting buffer, a mixture of four deoxynucleotide triphosphates, an internal control sample, a positive control sample, a recombinant plasmid containing a gene fragment of an ornithosis agent (Chlamydophila psittaci), synthetic oligonucleotide primers and dyes labeled with dyes, according to the invention, for the internal control sample, a bacteriophage T4 suspension with concentration of 5×10³ copies of nucleotide sequences per 1 mcl, and for a positive control sample – a mixture of recombinant plasmid DNA containing a fragment of the genome of ornithosis DNA (Chlamydophila psittaci) and a fragment of the bacteriophage T4 genome, taken in ratio 1:1.;EFFECT: invention enables authentically diagnosing an ornithosis DNA exciter (Chlamydophila psittaci) in birds.;1 cl, 3 dwg, 4 tbl
