METHOD OF ELIMINATING SOFT-TISSUE DEFECT OF MIDDLE FACE AREA

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery. Soft-tissue defect of the middle face is eliminated by forming a sensory bed within the defect by skin incision and subcutaneous fat and closed with a vascularized axial musculocutaneous flap on a vascular pedicle including a distal portion of the facial artery. Vascularized axial musculocutaneous flap is a vascularized axial musculocutaneous submental flap on a vascular pedicle comprising a distal portion of a front artery cut off below the submental artery discharge site and a submental artery with perforating vessels separated from an anterior abdomen of the digastric muscle, with subsequent formation of tunnel in subcutaneous fat layer between submaxillary region and lower edge of defect. Vascularized axial musculocutaneous sub-chyme vascular pedicle is rotated counterclockwise. It is carried out in the formed tunnel and fixed to the receiving bed.;EFFECT: method provides higher functional and aesthetic effect of surgical intervention.;1 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
