A system (100) for minimizing phase jumps in an output signal, the system comprising: an input module (106) for receiving an input voltage signal (V) and converting the voltage signal into a current signal, the input module outputting the current signal; a switching stage (108 an interface (110) having at least one capacitor for receiving the first signal and attenuating the up-converted high-frequency products while a second signal, for receiving the current signal and outputting a first signal comprising up-converted high-frequency products and down-converted low-frequency products; a load section (104) for receiving the second signal, the load section including an operational amplifier and at least one variable resistive load, the load section outputting the output signal, wherein a gain of the System is determined by an impedance of the resistance load; and wherein a product of an amount of the capacitor of the interface and an amount of the variable resistance load is substantially constant in view of varying the resistance load.
