Disclosed is a method and an arrangement for an exact rotational speed - and the rotary angle correct synchronization concentrically rotating machine elements, such as, for example, a motor-driven shaft and a gear wheel is mounted freely rotatably. The angle of rotation of the shaft and the gear wheel are detected and supplied to a rotary angle regulator. The latter controls the motor in a manner, so that in the adjusted state exactly the same rotating shaft and the gear wheel and thus, by means of a conventional shift sleeve can be coupled, fixed against relative rotation. In the case of use in a transmission replaces this method the friction clutch, and enables a switching without a clutch. The special application is described in a hierarchical transmission, consisting of 2 partial transmissions, which are alternately switched over. In the case of conventional double clutch transmissions, which likewise are built up, these are teilgelriebe by means of an expensive, heavy and energetically unfavorable double clutch is switched over. The nonrotatable synchronization with the described rotary angle regulator now makes it possible to the double clutch to be replaced by a simple shifting sleeve. This leads to a significant simplification of the drive system. A conventional dry clutch is only for starting up of the vehicle from the state necessary. The transmission itself is of simple, compact and lighter. The user interface connects fully - manual and fully automatic operation on a natural manner. The switching processes take place free of wear and without loss. The result is an operating reliable transmission with the maximum efficiency.n="21"
