The present invention is directed to a method for the partially automated management of technical development data, which relate for example to a test configuration of a control device or a terminal. In particular, the present invention provides a method for committing data objects which model technical development data, and in particular a novel addressing of technical databases. The present invention is further directed to a computing device for development data management and to a computer program product with control commands which implement the proposed method or operate the proposed computing device.
