The technology disclosed herein relates to a pressure vessel 100 for a motor vehicle having at least one data logger 130, the data logger 130 being attached directly to the pressure vessel 100; wherein the data logger 130 is arranged to record at least one value indicative of the number of filling cycles of the pressure vessel 100; and wherein the data logger 130 has an output interface 132, via which at least the at least one value can be evaluated.
