The present invention discloses a medicament for treating a common cold and its method of production. The remedy for treating a cold includes, by weight, Radix Saposhnikoviae 10-20, Schizonepeta 10-15, and Radix Isatidis 3-20. The medicament for treating a cold of the present invention has other ingredients than the prior art medicaments and can remedy the shortcomings of the prior art medicaments.
