Method for determining and outputting a value for the security of supply in a water supply network

The inventive method provides, based on consumption profiles of consumers and level profiles of the container in a considered water supply network, the periods $\left(s_i^t\right)$ to determine if, after failure of the water supply for one or more containers or after a sudden increase in consumption, a container idles. The shortest determined durations $\left(mi{n}_t{s}_i^t\right)$ represent a measure of the security of supply at the time of the respective event (failure of the water supply, increased consumption).
