A transmitter module for a distance measurement with light signals or a LiDAR device with such a transmitter module or a method for distance measurement with light signals is proposed. At least one light-emitting element is provided which outputs the light signals. A device allows scanning of the environment around the transmitter module. Furthermore, a drive circuit is provided, which controls the at least one light-emitting element such that the light signals are output in pulses, wherein a pulse energy is determined in dependence on the scanning of the environment.
