The control knob is formed of a first portion (16) and a second portion (18) assembled in an assembly direction (A) and delimiting between them a passage (10) for receiving a fin (6) of air guide, the control knob comprising at least one detent assembly (20) for securing the first portion (16) and the second portion (18) to each other, each detent assembly ( 20) comprising a detent tab (22) configured to snap on a snap-on relief (24) formed on an inner surface (26) of the other of the first portion and the second portion, the relief of latching (24) and the latching lug (22) not being visible in any direction of observation perpendicular to the assembly direction (A) when the first portion (16) and the second portion (18) are assembled around the fin (6).
