The invention discloses a device (10) for influencing a position of an agricultural attachment (22). The device for influencing the position of the agricultural attachment comprises a three-point elevating device (12) including a cantilever crane in a center and lower cantilever cranes (16r,16l) on the left side and on the right side, the upper cantilever crane for adjusting length, an adjustmentmechanism which changes both of the low cantilever cranes all together or individually changes the two lower cantilever cranes (16r,16l) laterally and a control unit (20); the control unit controls the adjustment mechanism (18) to execute position correction of the agricultural attachment (22) installed on the three-point elevating device (12); the control unit (20) executes the position correction according to a practical value (A- practical) determined by a distance parameter and a rated value (A-rated) predetermined according to the distance parameter; the distance parameter representsa space distance between a predetermined reference points (42) on the agricultural attachment (22) and a corresponding part on the ground. The control method (20) can control the adjustment mechanism(18) by making the parameter practical value (A-practical ) equal to the rated value (A-rated).
