The device has a rod (6c) that connects ends (8, 10) of respective rods (6a, 6b). The rods (6a, 6b, 6c) constitute a triangular stiffener plate (11). The rods (6a, 6b) form an apex of the plate and are connected to a front panel (2) of a box structure. The apex of the plate is fixed in a median position of the height of the front panel. A rod (6d) is fixed at mounting lugs and connects upper and lower panels (3, 4) of the structure. An independent claim is also included for a box structure of an aircraft including a front panel.
