The invention relates to an internet voting system comprising a voting password to be used by the voter to access said vote. A verification password requested by the system is entered by the voter, said verification password, attached to a non-confidential parameter specific to the voter (for example national register number), used to create a file built with a SHA-2 function. This file contains the content of the vote in clear (unencrypted) and is accessible by the voter on a verification site by entering the non-confidential parameter and his verification password, or directly the result of the cryptographic hash. The system allows the creation of a "false vote", not taken into account during the counting of the vote, and of a real vote, duly counted. This makes it possible to overcome the problems of coercion and purchased votes.
