A new type of strict non-blocking switching network, including eight N×N center switching modules and two 2N×2N switching modules; N is a multiple of four; in a connection relationship, the eight N×N center switching modules are located in a middle, the two 2N×2N switching modules are arranged on two sides of the eight N×N center switching modules respectively, and the two 2N×2N switching modules are respectively connected with the eight N×N center switching modules; the eight N×N center switching modules are connected to each other. The present invention can obtain the following technical effects: the switching architecture is reduced, the amount and difficulty of cascade cabling are reduced, the hardware cost is reduced, and the flexibility of route selection during the exchange is improved.
