The present disclosure relates to a tibial baseplate (1) for tibial component of a knee prosthesis comprising: a bulk solid portion (2) comprising a proximally facing surface adapted to accommodate a bearing element for the articulation of a femoral component of the knee prosthesis; at least one porous portion (5) integral with the bulk solid portion (2) having a porous portion contacting surface (6) opposite to the proximally facing surface adapted to contact a proximal tibia.;Advantageously, the at least one porous portion (5) is seamlessly incorporated in said bulk solid portion (2).
