An inspection system for controlling quality of a tube (1), comprising: transporting means (2) for transferring the tube (1) on a transporting path being substantially perpendicular to an axis of the tube (1), a radiation source (4, 4'), a radiation receiver (6), and means for altering a direction of a radiation beam, partially or totally reflecting the radiation, forming the path of the radiation beam from the radiation source (4, 4') through the interior of the tube (1) to the receiver (6), characterized in that the inspection system is configured to generate two radiation beams (3, 3') and to introduce said two radiation beams (3, 3') to the inside of the tube (1) at two opposite ends of the tube (1), such that the radiation beams (3, 3') propagate through the tube (1) in two opposite directions.
