AUTOMATED OPTICAL INSPECTION EQUIPMENT WITH ADJUSTABLE IMAGE CAPTURING COMBINATION AND IMAGE CAPTURING COMBINATION ADJUSTING METHOD

An automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment (1, 2, 3, 4) with adjustable image capturing combination (159) and an image capturing combination adjusting method thereof are provided. The automated optical inspection equipment (1, 2, 3, 4) includes at least one image capturing apparatus (110, 111, 112), at least one moveable light source (130, 131, 132, 133, 134) and a device-under-test (DUT) movement mechanism (120, 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 1291, 1292). A control circuit (170) moves device under test (DUT), selects one light source (130, 131, 132, 133, 134), and controls the light source (130, 131, 132, 133, 134) to move or rotate. The control circuit (170) is capable of performing the capturing operation by switching multiple image capturing combinations (159) sequentially. Each of the image capturing combinations (159) records the image capturing apparatus (110, 111, 112), the position and angle of the device under test (DUT), the light source (130, 131, 132, 133, 134) and its position and angle relative to device under test (DUT). The positions or angles of capturing combinations are different. Accordingly, a large number of the image capturing results can be obtained for the device under test (DUT) quickly and automatically.
