The invention relates in particular to a method of producing a construction object (19), for example for producing furniture. The process uses shell kernels or soft fruit kernels and comprises the following stages: - separation of the fruit kernels and husks, - optionally additional separation of the fruit kernels and seeds, - drying of the fruit kernels, - grinding cores, so as to obtain a core powder (11), - mixing of said core powder (11) with an adhesive substance (13), so as to obtain a paste (16), - compression of said paste (16 ) in a mold, said mold having an imprint of the construction object (19), and- ultimate drying of said paste and demolding of the construction object (19).
