The invention relates to a method for creating an analysis dataset for an evaluation of an ultrasonic test of an object, comprising the following steps: providing a first and second measurement dataset, wherein each measurement dataset is based on at least one ultrasonic measurement of a region of an object and a SAFT analysis of the ultrasonic measurement; assigning a first test fault size to at least one volume element of the first measurement dataset, wherein the volume element of the first measurement dataset is assigned to at least one part of the region; assigning a second test fault size to at least one volume element of the second measurement dataset, wherein the volume element of the second measurement dataset is assigned to at least one part of the region; creating the analysis dataset with at least one volume element, which is assigned to at least one part of the region; and assigning a third test fault size to the volume element of the analysis dataset, wherein the third test fault size is formed from the maximum of the first and second test fault sizes. The invention also relates to a method for evaluating an ultrasonic test of an object by means of the analysis dataset created according to the invention.
