A ballscrew assembly (2) comprises: a nut (4) having a nut body (5) with a radially inner surface (11) and a helical groove (10) formed on the radially inner surface (11); a screw shaft (6) disposed within the nut (4), the screw shaft (6) comprising a radially outer surface (15) and a groove (14) formed on the outer surface (15), the groove (14) on the screw shaft (6) cooperating with the groove (10) on the nut (4) to define a helical raceway for a plurality of balls; at least one lubricant reservoir (26, 28) formed in the nut body (5) at or adjacent to an end of the helical raceway; and a lubricant passage (30) extending through the nut body (5) and fluidly coupled to the at least one lubricant reservoir (26, 28); wherein the lubricant reservoir (26, 28) is fluidly linked to the helical groove (14) of the nut (4) via the lubricant passage (30).
