Method and apparatus for nondestructive exploration in the corner of a concrete structure using electromagnetic wave radar

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To nondestructively search an embedded object or a space portion arranged in a corner portion of a concrete structure which has been a blind spot so far without destructing the corner portion of the concrete structure using an electromagnetic wave radar. An exploration method and apparatus are provided. A wedge shape having a relative permittivity of 6 to 9 at a corner 2 of a concrete structure 1 and a slope 21 that climbs toward the corner 2 and does not have a reflector inside. By placing the electromagnetic wave propagating material body 20 and running the electromagnetic wave radar device 10 along the slope 21 of the wedge-shaped electromagnetic wave propagating material body 20, the electromagnetic wave propagating axis 14 is inclined with respect to the surface 6 of the concrete structure 1. Then, the electromagnetic wave is radiated to the concrete structure 1 to search the buried object 4 or the void portion 3 located at the corner 2 of the concrete structure 1.
