API mashup exploration and recommendations

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and the like that enables a user to efficiently search for API mashups. The method may include collecting a plurality of computer readable source code from an application programming interface (API) repository. The method may further include performing API call code slicing on the computer readable source code. The method may further include retrieving the API host and endpoint for each of the API call codes identified in the API call code slicing. The method may further include compiling an API mashup database based on the retrieved API host and endpoint. Further, the method may also include providing the recommended API mashups of the API mashup database at the user interface. [Selection diagram] Figure 2
