To create a scan path easily.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic automatic scanning system includes an ultrasonic probe, a mechanical mechanism, and a creation unit. The ultrasonic probe transmits and receives an ultrasonic wave. The mechanical mechanism holds the ultrasonic probe, and moves it in a state that an ultrasonic transmission and reception surface in the ultrasonic probe is directed to a subject. The creation unit acquires a distance between a body surface of the subject and the ultrasonic transmission and reception surface in the ultrasonic probe on the basis of reflection wave data collected while the ultrasonic probe is moved by the mechanical mechanism, and creates trajectory information on the movement of the ultrasonic probe when executing ultrasonic scanning to the subject on the basis of the acquired distance information.
