PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate desired electric power even when the current flowing through a transmission line is small, and to minimize the generation of surplus electric power when the current is large. A current transformer 10 is wound around a magnetic core 11 that can be attached to a transmission line as a primary winding, a power generation coil 12 as a secondary winding wound around the magnetic core 11, and a magnetic core 11. The demagnetizing coil 13 is driven so that the demagnetizing coil 13 as the tertiary winding is generated and the magnetic flux φ2 is generated in the direction opposite to the direction of the magnetic flux φ1 generated in the magnetic core 11 when a current flows through the transmission line 2.
