To provide methods and systems for establishing a secure communication channel between devices in different communication networks.SOLUTION: A first device DEV1 sends a message to a management unit MME using a first communication network FNET. The message identifies a first security module S1 connected to the first device DEV1. The first device DEV1 receives security data generated by the management unit MME on the basis of the message using the first communication network FNET. The security data enables the establishment of a secure communication channel SEC CH between the first security module S1 and a second security module S2 connected to a second device DEV2. The second device receives the security data via a second communication network SNET, and establishes a secure communication channel between the first security module S1 and the second security module S2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
