To provide a biaxially oriented polypropylene film capable of suppressing a deviation of a width in an insulation margin at one end in a longitudinal direction and the other end in a longitudinal direction in a metallized film after a slit process, though having a small thickness.SOLUTION: There is provided a biaxially oriented polypropylene film which has a thickness of 1.0 μm to 3.0 μm. A difference between a heat shrinkage at 140°C in a first direction and a heat shrinkage at 130°C in a first direction is 0% or more and less than 2.0%, and a difference between a heat shrinkage at 140°C in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and a heat shrinkage at 130°C in the second direction is 0% or more and less than 2.3%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
