To provide a differential type internally meshing planetary gear mechanism capable of preventing interference between an internal gear and an external gear, and also capable of improving productivity.SOLUTION: A differential type internally meshing planetary gear mechanism comprises an internal gear, a first shaft having an eccentric shaft part eccentric to the internal gear, and an external gear that is provided rotatably with respect to the eccentric shaft part and internally meshes with the internal gear while revolving around the internal gear. A carrier is provided rotatably with respect to the internal gear. The carrier is engaged with the external gear so that rotation can be transmitted. A second shaft is connected to the carrier. The tooth profile of the internal gear and the tooth profile of the external gear are Cornu spiral tooth profile.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
