PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst warm-up process monitoring device capable of detecting that an exhaust characteristic after a cold start of an internal combustion engine is lower than an expected one when an abnormality occurs in the warm-up process. SOLUTION: A CPU 72 calculates an integrated value of an intake air amount Ga from the start of an internal combustion engine 10. Further, the CPU 72 calculates an estimated value of the temperature of the catalyst 36 based on the ignition timing and the like when the internal combustion engine 10 is started. When the integrated value reaches a predetermined value, if the estimated value does not reach the reference temperature, the CPU 72 operates the warning light 98 to execute the notification process, assuming that an abnormality has occurred in the warm-up process.
