PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide for the first time a method and a model such as a model capable of intuitively understanding that specific gravity is deeply involved in the formation of a layered structure of the earth from both visual and tactile senses. SOLUTION: In the layer structure of the earth, in addition to the vapor phase substance symbolizing the atmosphere and the liquid phase substance symbolizing the sea, the solid phase substance in the powder form symbolizing the crust, mantle, and nucleus is used. By making the material fluid and determining the conditions under which specific gravity separation is completely achieved from the results of hydrodynamic stratification experiments based on hydrodynamic calculations, the specific gravity stratification can be performed many times in a short time in a container.
