To provide a holding tool for osteotomy allowing visual confirmation of a whole depth part of a slit.SOLUTION: A holding tool (220) comprises: a first separation member (221b) comprising a first inner surface (221p) and a first outer surface (221q) which is formed into a wedge-shape becoming gradually thicker from a tip end side to a rear end side with respect to the first inner surface and which come into contact with a bone; and a second separation member (221a) comprising a second inner surface (221p) and a second outer surface (221q) which is formed into a wedge-shaped becoming gradually thicker from a tip end side to a rear end side with respect to the second inner surface and which comes into contact with a bone. The holding tool comprises: a first base part (225b) comprising a guide member (222b) which is provided on a rear end side of the first separation member for guiding opening/closing operations of the first separation member and the second separation member; a second base part (225a) comprising an opening (222c) which is provided on a rear end side of the second separation member and into which the guide member is inserted; and a holding part (223) for holding slide between the guide member and the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
