To provide an electric power storage device having, as an electrolyte, an ambient-temperature molten salt composed of a cyclic quaternary ammonium ion excellent in reduction resistance, and a monovalent anion.SOLUTION: The ambient-temperature molten salt is provided that is composed of a cyclic quaternary ammonium ion represented by the following general formula (G1).
