To suitably design the shape of an intake duct having a bypass mechanism.SOLUTION: An intake duct design device 1 sets design parameter values related to a design target, with an intake duct 20 having a bypass mechanism 23 for suppressing a vibration phenomenon of air as a design target; sets the shape of the design target using the design parameter values; calculates the aerodynamic characteristics of the design target and a required bypass flow rate by CFD analysis using the set shape; updates the design parameter values when the analysis result does not satisfy preset design conditions; and repeats the shape setting, CFD analysis and updating of the design parameters until the analysis result satisfies the design conditions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
