To provide a frozen oden in which the eat-texture and taste after thawing is improved as compared to conventional ones.SOLUTION: Provided are: a frozen oden made by freezing an oden (Japanese hotchpotch) comprising an oden ingredient and an oden soup containing an organic acid monoglyceride and an emulsifier different from the organic acid monoglyceride; and a process for producing frozen oden, including a fluid dispersion preparation step in which an organic acid monoglyceride and an emulsifier different from the organic acid monoglyceride are dispersed in water, soup stock, or oden soup at 45 to 100°C, and a step in which the fluid dispersion is heated with an oden ingredient. As the emulsifier different from the organic acid monoglyceride, one or more selected from the group consisting of sucrose fatty acid ester and polyglyceryl fatty acid ester is preferable.SELECTED DRAWING: None
